Mission District Nightlife Should Be Safe and Fun
Things that can ruin your evening:

■ Pickpockets on the Dance Floor - Secure your money, credit cards, valuables and phone

■ “Roofied” Drinks - Don't let your beverage out of your sight, try to always go out in groups or with someone you trust.  Roofies leave you vulnerable to robbery or date rape. Never leave drinks unattended nor accept drinks handed to you by a stranger, no matter how friendly or attractive.

■ Excessive Use of Alcohol or Drugs - instead of that next drink, how about a nice tall refreshing glass of water

■ Lost ATM Cards - minimize the amount of credit cards and ATM cards you take with you.  Your bank account will thank you the next day.

■ Assaults, Hate Crimes or Date Rapes - Always call 911 if you think you are a victim or know a victim of any of these crimes.

■ Car Break-ins - take necessary precautions to prevent vehicle break ins, Don't leave anything of value in your vehicle.

■ Robberies (Strong-arm or Weapons) - Don't try and be a hero, call 911 at the earliest opportunity, try to remain calm and give a detailed description of the suspect, try to remember as many facial features and clothing descriptions as possible.

BE SAFE AND HAVE FUN!
